Biography
Since arriving in the United States in 1988, South African-born artist Rob MacIntosh has continued to leave an indelible mark on the American art scene. Known for his breathtaking realism and emotional depth, Rob has spent decades mastering a wide range of subjects—from wildlife and seascapes to iconic trains and classic Americana.
Rob’s work has earned him multiple Awards of Excellence from the Society of Animal Artists, and he was twice honored with Best of Show at the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE). His paintings have been exhibited in prestigious galleries across the U.S., including Native Visions Gallery in Florida and Big Horn Gallery in Cody, Wyoming.
In the early 2000s, Rob was featured as a guest artist at Galleria di Sorrento in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, where he not only showcased his art but was invited to sing onstage—blending his musical talent with his artistic flair.
