Biography
Greg Erway was born and raised on the Great Plains and shares a special connection to the
characters, animals, and landscape which provide an infinite supply of inspiration for his art.
Through the use of color and a combination of technique and contemporary application, his
subjects take on a unique life of their own, piecing together a narrative rich in history and lore.
Owner and artist in residence at Wildfire Gallery in “The Paseo”, Oklahoma City’s historic art
district, Greg stays busy painting for galleries as well as fulfilling commissions. His success
includes a commission for the most recent renovation of the Oklahoma Governor’s mansion.
