Established in 1948

Founded in Tucson, Arizona, the Mountain Oyster Club has a colorful history steeped in Western traditions and Southwestern lifestyle. The Club offers its members and guests excellent food and drinks, outstanding Western art, and stimulating camaraderie in its beautiful setting- the Pond Mansion, built in 1936.

In 1948, the Mountain Oyster Club was founded by a group of six men, who envisioned a place for cowboys, ranchers and polo players and their families to feel welcome and relaxed while enjoying delicious food, beverages and camaraderie in their blue jeans and boots. The Mountain Oyster Club continues to be just that kind of place today and more. If you share our interest and want to preserve our western heritage, then you belong in the Mountain Oyster Club!
