Biography
Jeri Salter is a landscape painter drawn to the vast beauty of open spaces, big skies over rolling plains, and mountain ranges across western landscapes. She has been painting with dry pastels for the last 20 years. She loves to employ the ability to layer multiple pigments that bring vibrancy and immediate gratification as she works.
Her paintings are collected by art museums, numerous corporations, and prominent private collectors. She is currently one of 30 Centennial Painters for the Texas Parks and Wildlife book project to celebrate their 100-year anniversary. She has been represented for over ten years by Foltz Fine Gallery (Formerly William Reaves Fine Art Gallery). She just completed a one woman show titled Canyonlands of Texas.
