Rohr was born in 1984 in Tallinn, Estonia and moved to Tucson, AZ in 2004, where she has been living and working ever since. Being immersed in Russian, European and Western cultures has played a significant role in her development as an artist. Her primary medium is oils. Working with landscapes, cityscapes and interior scenes in particular, teaches her to embrace everyday beauty and to celebrate simplicity. Painting Tucson has helped Inna attain that deep level of familiarity with Tucson that she has with Tallinn, her hometown. She is especially drawn to nocturnal scapes, streetlights, glowing street reflections on rare rainy days and wires connecting the city like a nervous system in a body.
Rohr exhibits locally (Untitled Gallery, Tubac Center for the Arts, Toscana Gallery, Contreras Gallery, La Roche Tissue Diagnostics / SAACA) and nationally and has her artwork is in private collections across the United States and Europe. She also founded and manages a new artist run gallery called “Untitled Gallery” in downtown Tucson.
