Classes with artists in California influenced Mike to begin drawing using pencil, pen and ink. Upon moving to Lake Tahoe, he studied watercolor and combined watercolor with my pen and ink drawings. Later he explored the three-dimensional art of sculpting at UCLA and took bronzing classes at Lake Tahoe Community College. It was at LTCC that he learned the entire bronzing process. Moving to Goodyear, AZ he had the opportunity to study under Cowboy Artists of America, John Coleman and Orland Joe Sr. at the Scottsdale Art School. Mikes latest endeavor has been carving stone and combining it with bronze.
